The Universal Seal is a versatile seal with a smooth tail of only Ø 2.3 mm. This makes lacing easy, even when space is limited. This type of seal is available in 3 different sizes: Small (20.5 cm), Medium (28 cm) and Large (39 cm). The Universal Seal is suitable for sealing tankers, IBCs and collection boxes, among other things. Each Universal Seal is unique and has a one-time produced number. This makes fraud with these seals impossible. The print is very legible due to the white print on a black background. In addition to the various variants from stock, it is also possible to order the Universal Seal with a personalized print, with your own text or logo.

Smooth seal tail with stainless steel closing mechanism for extra ease of sealing

The Universal Seal is a versatile seal thanks to, among other things, the smooth seal tail. This ensures that the seal can easily be pulled through (narrow) openings. There are a number of ridges at the end of the stamping street. This ribbed end provides extra grip while putting on the seal.

In addition to the smooth seal tail, Universal Seal has an extra strong closure. The closing mechanism consists of a stainless steel ring with teeth. The teeth are placed in the form of a barb. This allows the tail of the seal to go only one way. Opening is not possible without breaking the seal. Reuse of the seal is impossible.

To properly seal the seal, a number of arrows are located on the back of the closing mechanism. These arrows indicate the side where the seal tail should be inserted.

Thin (2.3 mm) and solid seal with breaking strength of 15 kg

The diameter of the Universal Seal is 2.3 mm. It easily fits through narrow openings. In addition, the smooth seal tail ensures that the seal does not get caught, as sealing with a serrated seal tail can cause discomfort.

Material resistant to extreme temperatures and chemicals

This seal is made of high quality Polypropylene (PP). This reliable material is suitable for use with most chemicals. PP is also temperature resistant. The Universal Seal is resistant to temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. Another advantage of the use of PP is its high rigidity, which makes the seal extra strong. Despite its stiffness and strength, the material is still flexible. This makes lacing on the work floor easy.

Difficult to open by hand

Thanks to the strong stainless steel closing mechanism and the choice of material (PP), the Universal Seal has a breaking strength of 15 kg. This makes the seal quite difficult to open by hand. However, it is possible with sufficient force. With a breaking strength of 15 kg, the Universal Seal falls under the category of indicative seals with medium breaking strength. For example, a stronger seal is the Swift Seal with a breaking strength of 35 kg. The One Piece Seal is an example of a seal with a lower breaking strength of only 6 kg.

The smooth seal tail slides easily through the openings of the closures. The material is also resistant to chemicals. This makes the seal also suitable for sealing IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers).

In addition, the Universal Seal can be used for sealing collection boxes. The thin, smooth seal tail simply fits through the locking system of a collection box. The Small variant (20.5 cm) is sufficient for this application as little length is required.

Excellent legibility due to white print on black background

The Universal Seal has a unique imprint with ascending numbering. The combination between the imprint and numbering is only produced once. This way, every Universal Seal is unique and fraud is prevented. An additional advantage is that the wi The print is lasered on a black background. This creates a high contrast, making the print excellent legible.

From stock, the Universal Seal is provided with a standard imprint (UMS, UM or UML Seal, depending on the length) with unique ascending numbering.
