The Medium Duty (MPT) Seal is the most commonly used loading seal in the range. The Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal is strong, but the seal can be broken by hand with some force (12 Kg). It is a reliable seal that, thanks to its quality in design and material, is suitable for years of use. The MPT Seal has a plastic insert of the patented Delrin®, as a replacement for metal. This makes it not only very strong, but the seal is also suitable for use in places where food safety and hygiene are essential.

Most commonly used 10 “(25 cm) multifunctional backstitch seal

One of the most commonly used seals is the Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal. This versatile multipurpose seal has a length of 25 cm (10 “), making it suitable for most applications. The seal is less strong. than the lighter version, the Light Duty Pull Tight Seal with a breaking strength of 7 kg. The Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal is also available as a variant with a special tear strip, the Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal Tear-Away (MPT-TA) .

The thin seal tail has a diameter of 2.8 mm and 12 kg breaking strength

The Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal has a 2.8mm diameter and fits through tight openings. The strong plastic closing mechanism and the choice of material (PE) ensure that the Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal has a breaking strength of 12 kg. The seal thus falls into the category with an average strong breaking strength. An example of a stronger seal is the Swift Seal with a breaking strength of 35 kg. Nippers are required to break the Swift Seal. The Light Duty Pull Tight Seal is the lighter version of the Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal.

The MPT Seal has a plastic insert made from Delrin®, a patented type of plastic. Delrin® is made of acetal (Polyoxymethylene POM) and is used as a replacement for metal. This is unique compared to other seals that often have a metal insert. The material is very strong and has a high temperature resistance of -40 to +120 degrees Celsius.
With seals with a metal insert, there is a possibility that pieces of plastic may come loose because the plastic rubs / scrapes against the metal. This is not the case with a plastic insert. This property is especially important in the food and medical industry.

Medium strength indicative seals made of HDPE

The seal is made of high-quality, high-density polyethylene (abbreviated to HDPE). The material is resistant to chemicals. The Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal is resistant to temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. The material also has a high stiffness and is therefore extra strong. Despite its rigidity, the material is still flexible and bendable. This makes sealing the MPT easier.

Suitable for sealing barrels, couplings and trucks, among other things

Thanks to the well thought-out design and the materials used, the MPT Seal is suitable for many different applications, including sealing barrels and couplings. This seal is also suitable for sealing trucks. The thin flexible Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal fits easily through the lock of a truck door. Given the average breaking strength, the seal is strong enough to withstand the forces on the latch. Also, weather influences have no effect on years of reliable operation of this seal.

Provided with one-off unique imprint and ascending numbering

The Medium Duty Pull Tight Seal has a unique print. From stock, the seal is provided with the text “MPT 10 SEALED” in combination with a unique ascending numbering. Both Navacqs and the manufacturer ensure that each combination is only produced once. Because every stamp is unique, fraud can be detected.
