A good alternative to the traditional lead seal and seal wire is the Twist Seal. The Twist Seal is suitable for sealing gas meters, electricity meters and water meters. The seal is made out of a transparent housing, plasticized steel wire and a plastic cylinder. When tightening the yellow cylinder, both ends of the steel wires are clamped in the housing. As a result, it is not possible to pull back the wire without physical damage. After tightening, the yellow lever must be broken off. This reduces the risk of fraud. Each Twist Seal has a unique imprint and a one-time produced number.

Fraud is immediately visible thanks to a transparent housing

The Twist Seal from Navacqs is very reliable. The transparent housing makes fraud and manipulation immediately visible. Within this transparent housing is a mechanism into which the steel wire is inserted. The specially designed cylinder is tightened via a lever on the outside. For safety reasons, rotation is only possible on one side.

Break off the yellow tab after sealing

When tightening the cylinder, both ends of the steel wires are clamped in the housing. As a result, pulling back the wire is not possible without physical damage. After tightening, the lever must be broken off. This reduces the risk of fraud.

300 mm plasticized steel wire welded directly into the seal

The Twist Seal is provided with a steel wire with a length of 300 mm. The galvanized steel wire is also plasticized. The plastic layer makes sealing easier. Another advantage of this choice is that it protects the wire against any moisture present.

A modern alternative to traditional sealing with pliers, lead and wire

Sealing most traditionally is carried out with seal leads and sealing wire. The Twist Seal is a modern alternative to this traditional way of sealing. Unlike seal lead and seal wire, no tools are required with the Twist Seal. Sealing the Twist Seal can easily be done by hand. Special sealing pliers are therefore not necessary.

Easy registration

Each Twist Seal is also printed with a unique number. The unique number is not possible when the traditional way of sealing with pliers, lead and wire is chosen. The advantage of this unique number is that registration is easy. It is also much more difficult for malicious parties to commit fraud.

Suitable for sealing gas meters, electricity meters and technical equipment

The Twist Seal is a reliable seal with a plasticized steel wire. This makes it possible to use the seal in areas with moisture. Given its thin diameter of only 1 mm, the Twist Seal is suitable for sealing gas meters, electricity meters and water meters. However, the seal may only be installed by a certified installer in consultation with the network operator. As a private individual, it is prohibited to apply the seals in the meter cupboard without the permission of the network operator!

Sealing technical equipment and various meters is also possible with the Twist Seal. The thin steel wire of the seal easily fits through tight openings.

Provided with a one-off unique imprint and ascending numbering

Each Twist Seal has a unique print. The seal is printed from stock with the text “TSN SEAL”. This is in combination with a unique ascending numbering. Both Navacqs and the manufacturer of the seal ensure that each combination is only produced once. This, in combination with good registration, can prevent fraud and manipulation.
