Product description Sydex Seal 215
Due to its narrow diameter, the Sydex Seal 215 is extremely suitable for sealing a TIR line. It is a band stamp with a fixed usage length. The seal tail cannot be pulled so that there is sufficient slack on the cable. This seal can be applied and removed by hand. Each Sydex Seal has a unique imprint and is easy to read thanks to a good contrast due to white printing on a blue plastic strap. In addition to the stock product, it is possible to provide the Sydex Seal with its imprint.
Relatively thin seal tail without flag with fixed usage length
The Sydex Seal 215 from Navacqs is a compact seal with a fixed usage length. This type of seal is also called a fixed-length seal because of the fixed length of the plastic strap. Unlike the Smartlock Seal 270, the seal has no flag for printing. In addition, the length of the Sydex Seal is slightly shorter than the Smartlock Seal.
Good contrast due to white printing on the blue plastic strap
The standard colour of the Sydex Seal 215 is dark blue. The print on the seal is white. This creates a high contrast. This makes it easy to read the seal printing. Especially when the printing has to be read in the dark, the high contrast on Sydex Seal is useful.
Easy to click by hand
The well-thought-out design of the Sydex Seal not only provides extra safety but also extra ease of use. The seal is easy to seal by hand. The end of the seal tail fits into the locking mechanism only one way and snaps into place. The tactile click is an indication that the Sydex Seal 215 has been properly sealed.
Suitable for sealing TIR lines
The Sydex Seal 215 has been specially developed to seal TIR lines of trucks. The narrow band of this seal fits easily through the ends of the TIR cables. Because the Sydex has a fixed length, the steel lines are sealed, but there is still sufficient space. Another reason why this seal is suitable for TIR lines is that the material is resistant to various weather. Seals on truck TIR lines are subject to rainwater splashing during transport.
Provided with a one-off unique imprint and ascending numbering
Each Sydex Seal has a unique imprint. The seal is provided with the text “SEALED” from stock. This text is combined with a unique consecutive numbering. Both Navacqs and the manufacturer of the seal ensure that each combination of imprint and number is only produced once. The number on the seal is unique and therefore an excellent aid to protect the load. In combination with good registration, fraud and manipulation can be prevented or detected.
