Our 500 ml glass sample bottle is packaged and sealed per 35 pieces, with a total weight of 8.1 kg per tray. They are supplied with caps as standard but can also be ordered without caps. The transparent glass makes inspection easy. The bottle has a DIN 28 opening.

Our 500 ml glass sample bottle is supplied with a cap as standard. Unlike our other products, glassware orders smaller than a pallet must be picked up at our warehouse. However, orders of one pallet or more can be shipped by courier.

This policy is in place due to the fragility of glassware. By offering the 250 ml glass sample bottle for pickup only, we can ensure the quality of the products and make sure you receive your order in perfect condition.

In addition to this variant, we also offer glass sample bottles in 250 ml and 1000 ml. They are suitable for a wide range of samples, including water and other liquids.

Packaged per 35 pieces

The 500 ml glass sample bottle is sealed with clear foil per 35 pieces (a tray). One 500 ml glass sample bottle weighs 233 grams. A tray with 35 pieces weighs 8.1 kg. A pallet can hold 1050 pieces. Between each layer of glassware, we place a sturdy cardboard sheet to reduce pressure on the glassware. In total, we stack the bottles six high and then seal this stack with clear foil.

Just like our HDPE sample bottles, our 500 ml glass sample bottle is supplied with a cap as standard. If you have specific requirements, such as bottles without caps or caps without bottles, we can arrange that. Contact us via email or phone to communicate your preferences.

Color: transparent

Transparent glass makes it easy to inspect the contents of the 500 ml glass sample bottle without opening it, which is useful for quickly assessing volume, clarity, and any contamination of the sample.

Type of opening: 28 DIN

The 500 ml glass sample bottle has a DIN 28 opening, meaning the neck has a diameter of 28 millimeters with specific threading according to the DIN standard.

Type of glass: type 3

These bottles are made of type 3 glass, a common glass composed of silica, soda, and lime. It offers good chemical resistance and is suitable for storing dry powders and oral liquids. However, it is less resistant to strong acids and bases than type I and type II glass and is often used for food packaging and general laboratory bottles.
