The Sealing Wire 20/20 Spool is an extra thin sealing wire. It is easy to disconnect in an emergency. The braided seal wire consists of two 0.2 mm wires. The total diameter of the core wire and the wrapped wire is only 0.6 mm. This type of wire is mainly used in fire protection due to its low breaking strength of only 1.7 kg. Sealing is very simple and can be used flexibly. The sealing wire can be cut to any desired length. To complete the sealing, a seal bob is required. The sealing wire is supplied on a 400-meter spool.

0.2 mm core wire and 0.2 mm wrapped wire (20/20)

The 20/20 Sealing Wire 20/20 spool consists of two galvanized steel wires. The core wire has a diameter of 0.2 mm. The second wire is braided around the core wire. The braided wire also has a diameter of 0.2 mm. That is why this type of sealing wire is called 20/20. The total diameter of the sealing wire is 0.6 mm. This makes the Sealing Wire 20/20 spool the thinnest seal in the Navacqs range.

The combination of a core wire and a wrapped wire has an important reason: it gives the seal wire extra grip. Once the Sealing Wire 20/20 has been placed in the lead seal, the wire is pinched using the sealing plier NZT-1P. Once pinched it is not possible to move the seal wire. This prevents reopening. Standard steel wire or rope has no extra grip in comparison. It is therefore easy to take off.

Disconnect by hand; breaking strength only 1.7 kg

The sealing wire has a very low breaking strength of only 1.7 kg. This makes it easy to break the seal wire by hand. This is a requirement, especially in emergency situations. The low breaking strength has been achieved through the use of extra thin wires of only 0.2 mm in diameter.

The 50/30 sealing wire has a higher breaking strength of approximately 7 kg compared to the 20/20 wire. This seal wire is suitable for applications where the seal wire does not have to be broken by hand.

To be used in combination with seal seals and seal pliers

Sealing with sealing wire and seal leads is the traditional way of sealing. Sealing is very simple and can be used flexibly. The seal wire can be cut to any desired length. To complete the sealing, a seal bob is required. Both ends of the seal wire are pushed through the seal leads. Finally, the seal must be pinched shut with a sealing plier. After squeezing the seal is complete. Retraction of the wire is no longer possible. The combination of a core wire and a wrapped wire gives the seal wire an extra grip.

Supplied on a spool of 400 meters

The Sealing Wire 20/20 is supplied on a spool. The compact spool of wire can easily be carried in a toolbox. The advantage of a bobbin is that it can cut just the right length. The seal wire is supplied on a 400-meter spool.

Suitable for sealing fire extinguishers and emergency buttons

Sealing with sealing wire and sealing bars is a reliable way of sealing. Thanks to the low breaking strength of only 1.7 kg, the sealing wire is suitable for sealing fire extinguishers and emergency buttons, for example. The seal is easy to remove in emergency situations.
