About Metal Seals

Every metal seal is manufactured from galvanised steel or plastic-coated steel wire. The material delivers high breaking strength, yet the closure still snaps shut manually so that application remains fast. A unique imprint with consecutive numbering is produced once only, giving each seal a singular identity for reliable tracking and fraud prevention.

Applications

Tyden Ball Seal and Metal Flat End Seal Guard Lock secure TIR cables and trailer doors; the Tyden version is customs-approved for EU transit. Twist Seal, featuring a transparent housing and coated wire, is ideal for gas, water and electricity meters or compact technical equipment. All three models resist moisture and temperature swings, ensuring the seal stays intact throughout transport or service life.

Breaking strength

Typical values range from about 45 kg for the Guard Lock to 52 kg for the Tyden Ball Seal. Twist Seal derives comparable strength from its internal wire-clamp mechanism. In every case a heavy cutter or bolt-cropper is required for removal, adding an extra security layer.

Custom logo or printing

Each metal seal is supplied with a standard imprint and unique numbering. From 1 000 pieces upward you may add your company name, logo or a customs or TIR code. Twist Seal also allows you to specify the colour of the internal spindle, while Tyden and Guard Lock models can be produced in different strap and print colours. Barcodes or QR codes for digital tracking are available on request. Production starts only after you approve the artwork, so you receive a seal that is both secure and unmistakably yours.
