About high security seals

High Security Seals are tested and approved at various points by independent parties. Not only is the product inspected, but also the production process of the seals and quality control of the manufacturer. Due to the ISO 17712: 2013 certification, High Security Seals can be used for sealing containers worldwide. Various (customs) authorities such as the C-TPAT and ISPS require container seals with this certificate.

Bolt Seal

Containers can be sealed with different types of High Security Seals. One of the most common seals is the so-called Bolt Seal. This consists of a pin and sleeve that can be clicked together. Applying this container seal can easily be done by hand. When the two parts of the seal are clicked, breaking is only possible with a solid bolt cutters. Both the Barrier Container Seal and the Neptune Container Seal are Bolt Seals.

Cable Seal

In addition to the Bolt Seals, Cable Seals also fall into the High Security Seals category. This type of seal consists of an aluminum housing and a steel wire that fray when broken. The steel wire of the Cable Seals have a minimum diameter of 3.5 mm to be ISO 17712: 2013 certified. Therefore only the Cable Seal 350 and 500 with the ISO 17712: 2013 certification. This type of seal is extra flexible and fits on any common container.

Extra safe

For extra safety, there are also High Security Seals that, in addition to the container lock, also protect the bars of the container. Both the Blocker LP-FT Container Seal and the New Fork Seal have a Bolt Seal that is placed on the closure of the container. The Blocker LP-FT has a steel wire with a diameter of 4 mm on the Bolt Seal that can be placed around the bars of the container. This type of High Security Seals are mainly used for export containers with valuable cargoes.

Your own logo

All High Security Seals are available directly from stock and have a unique print and ascending numbering. Each High Security Seals is also provided with the letter “H”, which indicates that it is an officially ISO 17712: 2013 High Security certified seal. The name of the manufacturer is also stated on each container seal. In addition to the standard product, it is also possible to personalize the container seals. For example, a name imprint/logo can be printed combined with a unique ascending numbering.
